I'm just popping in to remind you that It's OK if all you did today was shower, have a snack, get out of bed or simply just breathe.
I've just come out of the midst of a hyper-manic episode and I haven't really left my bed, eaten or showered for the past 2 days, all I've done is sleep but today I've finally mustered up the energy to get out of bed, put some clothes on and go to the shop to find something quick and easy to eat aka a smoothie and some McCoy's crisps, it probably seems like nothing to some but it's taken me the entire day to put on some clothes and walk to the shop.
You see sooooo much shit on social media telling you to use this time to exercise, make art, meditate, write a book, learn a new skill, start yoga, go on a diet ETC.
But listen here ; GUYS WE ARE IN THE MIDST OF A GLOBAL FUCKING PANDEMIC and the only thing that matters right now is surviving and if that means eating microwave meals, using dry shampoo instead of washing your hair, staying in your pj's all day, lying in bed for days, watching netflix and eating a family-size pack of Doritos then that's OK and it's OK if thats the best you can do right now. Surviving looks different for each person 💓
